I pitched twitter to my staff earlier this year and was met with unexpected resistance. Or maybe it was that I was unprepared to answer the question "Why should I get on twitter?" AS an avid twitter user I know why I use it and what I have gotten out of it, but I could not articulate that to the staff when put on the spot. I backed off of the topic since my staff and I were not ready to tackle this issue quite yet., until now. A friend of mine is offering up a summer Twitter/Instagram challenge to her staff and I wanted to offer it to mine. I have laptop stickers ready to go in the circut machine for anyone who completes at least 5 tasks, but I still needed to answer the why!
I turned to Twitter and to Google+ to ask my PLN what the why was and developed a list I was happy with. I've turned that list into an infographic via Google Slides and am sharing it with my staff tomorrow. (Twitter got a sneak peak today.)
Here is the original on Slides.

Robin, thanks so much for sharing this! As involved as I've been on Twitter, I often have a hard time articulating it too; it just makes sense to me. This is AWESOME! Hope things went well with your staff. Would also love to see the summer Instagram/Twitter challenge!
